Congratulations to Hyeji for making the Cheer Team  on her first year of High School! We only have two March birthdays. Crista and Todd. Happy Birthday, you two!  The Vance Family were able to get away for the weekend, to Legoland.  Todd turned four--celebrating his birthday in Legoland this year. I had the fun experience of going to the play Sound of Music this week with Adrienne, Ila and Caitlyn.  I'm sad I didn't take a picture afterwards.  I kept running into friends and Ila was tired. From Roy: The weather has been very wet and cold in February and March.  As some of you may know I am the Vice President of the Northern Utah ATV Club.  I have a Pioneer 1000-5 and a Talon 1000X.  They have been a lot of fun.  Our club had a ride scheduled just North of Wendover, Nevada.  We went on Friday afternoon, had dinner with some fellow ride friends at a Mexican Restaurant which was fantastic.  The storm front changed direct...

Time With Family and Friends

Roy and I took a quick (2 day trip) up to Flaming Gorge to check on things. My friend, Carrie Dixon, found out we were coming and invited me to her book club.  I had even read the book they were discussing (Tress and the Emerald Sea).  I met several more ladies that live in the area and we had a great time.  Carrie went all out with themed refreshments (the cake had different toppings representing the different seas in the novel; there were mugs filled with various things since Tress had a mug collection, etc.). We had Dana and Carrie for dinner to our house the following evening and we played games until 10:00.  Sometime during the evening, Dana and Roy planned a fishing outing for the morning.  Since they were getting up early, we were able to wind down on the games a little early, too. Roy had badly wanted to take me on a side by side ride on our last morning, but it was windy and cold.  Instead, he was able to go fishing with Dana.  They got up ear...

Updates on Beverly and Other News

Update on Beverly: Andy and Elise took Beverly into the burn clinic first thing Monday morning to see what else was necessary in her treatment and they said she needed surgery.  She was admitted to the hospital (without going home) and the doctor put her under to scrape, clean and bandage the wound.  Miraculously, the burn center there is the biggest and best in the country.  Beverly with her school teacher who took the time to come and visit her with notes from all the class members. Zack is now sitting up like a champ.  Next step; teach him to walk.  He'll be getting a walker soon. Elijah AJ went Heli-skiing last week and was able to enjoy the amazing views near Vamp in Canada.  Adrienne kept the home fires burning by taking the boys to all their games, including Finn's tournament in St. George.  His team took first place and he received a cool ring instead of a trophy.  I like that idea, it takes a lot less space. Finn with his mom and his awes...
