         Some thoughts I saw an interesting thing on Fox News this past week.  There was a religious teacher in a Christian college in England that posted on Twitter something to this effect:  "Homosexuality is wrong.  If there is no sin, we don't need a Savior."  Of course, he got fired for his views (or at least for sharing his views online).  I thought his "Tweet" was profound.  In this world people are trying so hard to say that certain choices are not sins that they convince themselves they don't need a Savior.  Elder Holland in his talk last conference said, "To be a follower of Jesus Christ, one must sometimes carry a burden--your own or someone else's--and go where sacrifice is required and suffering is inevitable.  A true Christian cannot follow the Master only in those matters with which he or she agrees.  No.  We follow Him everywhere, including, if necessary, into arenas filled with tears and trouble,...

Daylight Saving's Time I had great hopes that this would be our last time change ever.  I hate losing an hour.  Gaining an hour in the fall is slightly better, but it still messes with my time clock.  The latest I've heard about the possible end of Daylight Savings Time is that it's been passed in the Senate, but ignored in Congress.  Apparently it's been reintroduced in Congress, so hopefully they will vote on it soon.  Keep your fingers crossed.   This is what Daylight Savings Time feels like to me : Family Interactions Hyeji had a choir concert this week.  She let Roy know about it approximately an hour before it started.  He was running errands, so he attended the concert before he came home.   I tended Yuli, Yuna and Dojin while Dan and Jieun went with Hyeji and Doyeon to the Temple.  Yuli is trying on her mom's shoes.  She could walk pretty well, probably because her little feet were pressed flat in the toe. Lesson on Faith and Miracles This Sunday it was my turn to give the Gospel Doctrine Lesson and it has been wonderful to study for it.  There is so much meat in these few chapters (Matthew 8; Mark 2-4; Luke 7) that there is no way to cover everything in an hour.  Elise posted these pictures on Instagram and I thought they spoke to the heart about the core of this week's message.  She had each of her family members draw a picture of their favorite miracle for one of their Come Follow Me lessons.  I asked if I could print them up and use them in my lesson.  I really enjoy teaching. We had a great class discussion.  I closed with the scripture Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for my transgressions, he was bruised for my iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
