Roy got a couple of awesome pictures of this hawk when he went up to the Gorge again for a project day.  Before he left we had the opportunity to enjoy our grandkids in a few more programs.  1st was a school Christmas concert at the Logan tabernacle, it included all of Crista's girls.  Each grade had the opportunity to share a Christmas song.  We also heard their school orchestra.  It was a fun evening. Zack and Roy;  Bridget;  Greta and Ruby   We also had the privilege of hearing the piano recital where all of the Green children (except Cub) performed.  Finn Gunnar and Ila all taking bows after performing.  They all look like they took this very seriously (Ila may have just been terrified as it was her first recital). The teacher is next to Gunnar, then Adrienne, Finn and Ila Ollie was at the other end of the group of kids which required a 2nd picture. This past week has been full of Christmas parties and programs that our grandchildren are involved in.  This is a way for us to celebrate Christmas and celebrate our family.  The important thing to remember as we flit about to various activities, is why and for Whom we celebrate this holiday.  As mentioned in the Christmas Devotional this year (put out by the First Presidency), there are many Christmas scenes, parties and events that fail to depict our Savior and His birth.  It's up to us to try and keep Him at the center of our thoughts throughout the season. Now that Roy is fully involved in the Northern Utah ATV Trail Riders Club, we have one more Christmas party to go to each year.  Nick and Sara have done more rides with Roy than I have, so they wanted to go socialize with some of the people they've met.   Sara, Nick, Roy, Catharine and Darrell and Shelly Miles (ward and club members).
